The webseminar gives an overview of databases offered via the CrossAsia Portal providing access to historical Chinese texts of the „siku“-universe, i.e. canonical, historical, monographic and ‚high‘ literature texts. In focus will be the specific characteristics of the various databases and the search and analytical features they offer. We will further have a look at what the freely available CrossAsia services CrossAsia Fulltext Search and CrossAsia ITR Explorer add to that. The lecture will be delivered in English.
