This webseminar offers a brief overview of academic journal databases for Chinese studies available through CrossAsia, with a special focus on VIP Weipu as the new primary database for academic journals from China. We will compare what CrossAsia offers through VIP Weipu and CNKI CAJ, and share recommendations on how to use each database most effectively for different research purposes. Resources covering Taiwan will also be introduced. The seminar welcomes both users with little or no prior experience with CrossAsia and more experienced users who are curious to learn more about the switch from CNKI CAJ to VIP Weipu. The session will be held in English, but a translation into German is possible if needed.
