This presentation especially aims at first time users of CrossAsia. I will give a short insight into the history, tasks and functionalities of the portal. I will present the registration process and the portals services, such as BLV („Blauer Leihverkehr“, the direct interlibrary loan service for materials in Asian languages), CrossAsia PDA (Patron Driven Acquisition) and CrossAsia DoD (Digitisation on Demand) in more detail and give a first orienting overview of the resources provided via CrossAsia.
