Guided tours in English
Get to know the architecture and art of the famous library building at Potsdamer Strasse 33!
Starting on March 12: Every second wednesday of the month we offer a public guided tour in English, where you can learn more about the building, which was completed in 1973 and designed by Hans Scharoun and his student Edgar Wisniewski. Why does it remind you of a ship sometimes? What’s the story behind the natural stone floor in the entrance hall? And where are the works of art made of glass blocks by Alexander Camaro?
Look forward to interesting facts and amusing anecdotes on our guided tour. Our volunteer guides are happy to welcoming you.
Registration is requested at: Guided Tours – SBB aktuell
Please note that places are limited to 15 people per guided tour.
