Neuer Gruppenarbeitsraum und Eltern-Kind-Raum ab 10.11. | New Group Study Room and Parent-Child-Room

Raum in Berlin ist knapp, aber in der Stabi Potsdamer Straße gibts jetzt mehr Räume! Ab 10. November bietet das das Haus endlich wieder einen Gruppenarbeitsraum mit gut 35 Plätzen in Sitzgruppen mit Tischen.

Ebenfalls ab 10. November gibt es einen neuen Eltern-Kind-Raum mit 2 Arbeitstischen und Platz für bis zu 4 Kindern (s. Foto oben). Der Eltern-Kind-Raum ist vom Gruppenarbeitsraum durch eine halbhohe Glaswand abgetrennt.

Beide Räume sind im 2. OG, die Treppe von der Cafeteria / Bibliocopy hochkommend geradeaus weiter und vor dem Loungebereich rechts durch eine Holztür: die rechte Tür führt zum Gruppenarbeitsraum, die linke Tür zum Eltern-Kind-Raum.

Für beide Bereiche mit insgesamt rund 40 zusätzlichen Arbeitsplätzen gilt: sie brauchen nicht gebucht zu werden und sie sind offen und nutzbar, so lange die Bibliothek geöffnet ist.

Starting November 10, at Potsdamer Straße there finally will be a group study room again, featuring a minimum of 35 seats at tables arranged for group work.

Also starting November 10, there will be a parent-child room with 2 worktables that accomodates up to 4 children (see photo above). The parent-child room is separated from the group study room by a half-height glass partition.

Both rooms are located on the 2nd floor. Take the stairs up from the cafeteria/Bibliocopy area, continue straight ahead, and—just before the lounge area—turn right through a wooden door. The group study room is the door on the right, and the parent-child room is the door on the left.

For both rooms which offer overall about 40 new seatings,  no booking is required, and they are open and available for use whenever and as long as the library is open.
