Bestellungen und Anmeldung am Mittwoch, den 4. Mai 2022 nicht möglich | No book ordering or registration

Durch eine Umstellung des Betriebssystems kommt es ab Dienstag, den 3. Mai, 20 Uhr bis Donnerstag, den 5. Mai, 8 Uhr zu Einschränkungen unserer Services.

Update:
Am 4. Mai von 6.30 Uhr bis voraussichtlich etwa 12 Uhr sind der Katalog sowie das Bibliothekskonto generell nicht erreichbar.

Katalog und Bestellen
Sie können in StaBiKat und stabikat+ mit Ausnahme der im Update angegebenen Zeiten recherchieren und die elektronischen Ressourcen uneingeschränkt nutzen. Nutzen Sie für den Zugang zu den elektronischen Ressourcen am Mittwochvormittag bei Bedarf  die Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek oder das Datenbank-Infosystem (DBIS).
Bestellungen auf gedruckte Medien können Sie erst wieder ab 5. Mai aufgeben.

Bibliothekskonto und Passwortänderung
Einschränkungen gelten auch für Ihr Bibliothekskonto: Sie können die Leihfristen nicht verlängern und von Ihnen zurückgegebene Bände können durch uns nicht umgehend zurückgebucht werden.
Auch eine Änderung Ihres Passwortes zum Bibliothekskonto, die für die Nutzung des WLANs sowie der elektronischen Ressourcen erforderlich ist, wird nicht möglich sein.

Ausleihe und Fernleihe
Ihre bereits im Lesesaal bereitliegenden Bände können Sie selbstverständlich auch während dieser Zeit nutzen. Neu für die Lesesaalnutzung bestellte Bände können an diesem Tag aber nicht verbucht und bereitgestellt werden.

Haben Sie bereits zuvor Bände für die Ausleihe außer Haus bestellt, dann können Sie diese auch am 4. Mai abholen. Diese Bände werden provisorisch erfasst und nachträglich auf Ihr Bibliothekskonto verbucht.

Auch bei Bestellungen per Fernleihe kommt es zur Einschränkungen: das Fernleihformular ist an diesem Tag nicht nutzbar. Die Online-Fernleihe, für die eine separate Anmeldung vorab erforderlich ist, ist wie gewohnt zugänglich, es kann aber zu Verzögerungen in der Bearbeitung kommen.

Anmeldung und Ausweisverlängerung
Leider ist am 4. Mai die Anmeldung für die Nutzung der Staatsbibliothek auch in unseren Häusern nicht möglich. Gern nehmen wir Ihre Online-Anmeldung entgegen, die wir aber erst bearbeiten können, sobald uns unsere Nutzer:innen-Datenbank wieder zur Verfügung steht. Auch die Gültigkeit Ihres Bibliotheksausweises können wir an diesem Tag leider nicht verlängern.

Bitte berücksichtigen Sie die leider unumgänglichen Einschränkungen bei Ihren geplanten Bibliotheksbesuchen online und vor Ort.

Ab 8 Uhr am Donnerstag, den 5. Mai, werden Ihnen unsere Services voraussichtlich wieder wie gewohnt zur Verfügung stehen.

No book ordering or registration on Wednesday, 4 May 2022

Due to a change in the operating system, there will be restrictions to our services from 8pm on Tuesday 3 May until 8am on Thursday 5 May.

Update:
On 4 May from 6.30 a.m. until probably around 12 p.m. the catalogue as well as the library account will generally be unavailable.

Catalogue and ordering
You can search in StaBiKat and stabikat+ with the exception of the times indicated in the update and use the electronic resources without restrictions. To access the electronic resources on Wednesday morning, use the Electronic Journals Library or the Datenbank-Infosystem (DBIS) if necessary.
Orders for printed media can be placed again from up to 5 May.

Library account and password change
Restrictions also apply to your library account: You cannot extend loan periods and volumes returned by you cannot be charged back by us immediately.
It will also not be possible to change your password to the library account, which is necessary for using the WLAN as well as the electronic resources.

Lending and interlibrary loan
You can of course use the volumes you already have in the reading room during this „downtime“, but new volumes ordered for reading room use cannot be booked and made available on this day.

If you have already ordered volumes for borrowing outside the library, you can also collect them on 4 May. These volumes will be provisionally booked and the final booking on your library account will then be delayed.

There will also be restrictions on interlibrary loan orders: the interlibrary loan form cannot be used on this day. The online interlibrary loan, for which a separate registration is required in advance, is accessible as usual, but there may be delays in processing.

Registration and card renewal
Unfortunately, registration for the use of the Staatsbibliothek will not be possible on 4 May, not even in our buildings. We are happy to accept your online registration, but we will only be able to process it as soon as our user database is available again. Unfortunately, we are also unable to extend the validity of your library card on this day.

Please plan your visits online and on site accordingly.

From 8 a.m. on Thursday, 5 May, our services will probably be available to you again as usual.
