Ab sofort sind aktuelle Zeitschriftenhefte zur sofortigen Nutzung ausgelegt in den Regalen im 1. OG des Lesesaals Potsdamer Straße.
Im StabiKat sieht die Anzeige des Zeitschriften-Jahres (i.d.R. 2026) so aus:
Standort: Potsdamer Straße – Lesesaal, Zeitschriften-Freihandauslage
Signatur: Zsn 56844-43.2026 (zum Beispiel)
Status: Benutzung nur im Lesesaal
Aktuelle Verfügbarkeit: Lesesaalbestand, bitte selbst am Standort entnehmen
Bestand: ungebundene Hefte
Mit der Zeitschriftennummer, im obigen Beispiel „Signatur: Zsn 56844…“ finden Sie die Hefte in den numerisch geordneten Regalen.
Die Ausnahme sind großformatige Zeitschriften, die nicht dort liegen und über den StabiKat bestellt werden mit dem angezeigten Button „Bestellen“.
Legen Sie benutzte Hefte bitte in die bereitgestellten „Ablage-Stationen“ zurück: kleine Tische mit Kisten, die entsprechend beschriftet sind am Ende etlicher Regalreihen.
As of now, the latest issues of (almost) all journals are instantly accessible on shelves on the 1st floor of the Potsdamer Straße reading room.
Current journal issues are no longer ordered via StabiKat – with the exception of oversized journals. In StabiKat, when you look at e.g. volume 2026 of a given journal, you’ll see (curiously, not everything is translated):

Status: Use only in the reading room
Current availability: Reading room use only. You can take the item from the shelf yourself.
Bestand: ungebundene Hefte
Using the given number for the journal, e.g. Zsn 56844, you can locate the issues on the shelves. They are sorted by journal number.
Please return used issues to the designated „drop-off stations“: small tables with bins located at the end of several shelf rows.
