Ab 25.10.: Mund-Nasen-Schutz am Arbeitsplatz nicht mehr verpflichtend | Surgical masks at the workplace no longer mandatory

Aufgrund der aktuellen Entwicklungen ist ein Mund-Nasen-Schutz am Arbeitsplatz wieder verpflichtend. Weitere Informationen finden Sie im Blogbeitrag 3G-Regeln und Maskenpflicht am Arbeitsplatz vom 18.11.2021.

In Anlehnung an die Beschlüsse der Pandemie-AG des Berliner Senats und in Absprache mit den Berliner Hochschulbibliotheken kann in der Staatsbibliothek ab Montag, 25.10., auf das Tragen eines Mund-Nasen-Schutzes am Arbeitsplatz verzichtet werden, solange der Mindestabstand von 1,5 Metern gewahrt bleibt.

Hierbei handelt es sich ausdrücklich um eine „Kann“-Bestimmung: Wer zum Selbstschutz oder zum Schutz anderer eine Maske am Platz tragen möchte, darf das selbstverständlich tun. Sowie der Arbeitsplatz verlassen wird, bleibt das Tragen einer medizinische Maske in den Gebäuden weiterhin verpflichtend.

Die Voraussetzungen für den Zugang zu den Lesesälen – gültiger Bibliotheksausweis der Staatsbibliothek und 3-G-Regelung: geimpft, genesen oder getestet – bleiben weiterhin bestehen.

In accordance to the decisions of the pandemic working group of the Berlin Senate and in consultation with the Berlin university libraries, the wearing of a surgery mask at the workplace can be waived in the Staatsbibliothek as of Monday, 25 October, as long as the minimum distance of 1.5 meters is maintained.

This is expressly a regulation at your discretion: anyone who wishes to wear a mask at the workplace for self-protection or to protect others may, of course, do so. As soon as the workplace is vacated, the wearing of a medical mask in the buildings remains mandatory.

The requirements for access to the reading rooms – valid library card of the Staatsbibliothek  and „3-G rule“: vaccinated, recovered or tested – remain in effect.
