An der nördlichen Fensterfront im 2. OG des Lesesaals haben momentan nicht alle Tische eine Stromzufuhr. Die Bodentanks in diesem Bereich mussten geschlossen werden. Das Gebäude ist sanierungsbedürftig, auch hinsichtlich der fragilen Elektrik, und nicht alle Probleme können vor der anstehenden Generalsanierung behoben werden. Das ist natürlich für alle ungünstig, die dort sitzen und arbeiten. Es ist klar, dass eine Stromversorgung in dem Bereich wieder hergestellt wird. Genaueres (ein Zeitpunkt z.B.) ist leider noch nicht spruchreif. Sie lesen hier, wenn die Information sicher verfügbar ist. Bis dahin müssen wir um Ihre Geduld und Flexibilität bei der Wahl Ihres Sitzplatzes bitten.

Along the northern window front on the 2nd floor in the reading room, there is currently unsufficient power supply. Some desks have access to power, while others do not. The floor outlets had to be closed due to the building’s fragile and outdated wiring which can’t be fixed prior to the planned general renovation . This is, of course, inconvenient for everyone working and sitting in that area.

This issue needs to be resolved, and the power supply in that area will be restored. Unfortunately, we can’t provide a specific timeline just yet. As soon as we have confirmed details, we’ll share the information here. Thank you for your understanding and for your flexibility choosing a study desk!
