Digitalisierung von gut 20.000 Büchern | Digitization of over 20.000 Books

In the first phase of the project, approximately 100 volumes per week from the period roughly between 1850 and 1912 will be sent for digitization, with each batch being unavailable for about eight weeks. If you come across a book in the Stabikat catalog with a call number starting with „50 M“ or „1 A,“ it may be one of these titles currently undergoing digitization. There will be this notice (in German) next to the call number: „Im Digitalisierungsprozess – derzeit nicht benutzbar“.
Feel free to contact any Stabi information – online, via phone or at the information desks – to get help where else to find the title, in Berlin or for interlibrary loan somewhere else.
